Caroma Australia is offering Inclusive OT and guests the chance to experience the 'Caroma Age Lab Workshop'. This workshop aims to address the growing significance of the ageing population by providing an interactive experience for attendees. Participants will have the opportunity to personally encounter various complications related to ageing through the utilisation of the GERT (age simulation) suit with a particular focus on vision and touch. The workshop consists of three station activities allowing attendees to gain firsthand insights.

The workshop concludes with a reflection on the experience and the provision of valuable takeaways. These takeaways serve as reminders and catalysts for meaningful discussions, encouraging the development of empathy, acceptance, inclusivity, and adaptability towards the older segment of society. 

The Caroma Team have observed that this workshop has a profound effect on attendees, positively shaping their mental perceptions and enhancing dialogue surrounding these important issues. Caroma has designed the 'Livewell' range of bathroom products suited to elderly and less mobile populations, wcih the attendees will get to explore as well.

Entries are open to final year New Grad OTs, Early Career OTs and final year OT students only.
